Christianity - Materialism & Personal View Personhood chart

Question: Complete the following chart in the context of defining what it means to be human according to Christianity, Materialism, and your own Personal View. Refer to the assigned reading for explanation of characteristics listed on the left. Answer: Christianity Materialism Personal View Relational When God created families, He also created neighbors to allow human establish relationships required for hope and love. (Christianity.co.nz, 2015) Humans need to develop relationship for production and exchange. (Magnarella, 1993) I believe the relationship helps to create a sense of love and understanding that let us fulfill the purpose of our lives. Multidimensional God has instilled human beings with body, mind, soul and spirit. Each of these functions to express the human self. God has made humans up with flesh, blood, bones, molecules, atoms etc. all of which are objects or materials. Each and every dimension of our lives help us to recognize ourselves and the related actions we perform. Sexual Human nature is clearly understood when there exist complementary relationship to another human of same nature but opposite sexuality. The sexuality in human is the expression of fullness of love between man and woman by sensation and intimacy. Sexuality involves body, mind, soul and spirit of humans. The act is more like human association for expressing love or evolution of new being rather than just physical lust. Moral God has assigned human beings with moral values with which he can develop a sense of goodness or rightness. For the survival of human beings, he must have a distinguishing attitude towards what is good or what is bad. Morality is derived from a set of standards that must be universal. The judgmental aspect of human beings enables them to set the right and wrong things for them. Morality cannot be instilled apriori, it must be developed. Mortal Human souls are immortal. Death is defined as sleep and the person who is dead is defined as raised from sleep. Mortality is nothing but soul sleep Mortality is death in human. Death occur when all the vital bodily functions end and the existence of the human lapses. According to me, death is not the absence of human. It is the presence of his deeds that make him immortal. Destined for Eternal Life God has destined men and women for salvation and eternal life which life continues after death. (ZENIT - The World Seen From Rome, 2014) Resurrection of body is not possible as far as the mortality has touched human beings. I believe God has predestined each and every one of us towards salvation and eternal life. References Christianity.co.nz, (2015).Our identity as human beings.
